Remember December

Dementia Waikato is supporting Remember December in 2020.

This year really has been unprecedented and a year for counting our blessings that we are safe and sound here in NZ.

We want to ‘shine a light on dementia’ in December by remembering and acknowledging those facing the challenge of living with dementia symptoms either directly or as the Care Partner or Family/Whanau of someone experiencing dementia symptoms. Keep Christmas simple and feature what is really important about Christmas – spending time with Family/Whanau/Friends.

We will posting tips to shine a light, open conversations about dementia and help build awareness of the signs and symptoms as an early diagnosis is the best way to continue to live a happy and active life.
