Our support co-ordinators visit clients and their family/whanau in the home and then follow up with regular phone calls and or emails or letters. In this way they can offer support, advice and coping strategies specific to the needs of a particular client. This ensures that people are given ongoing support throughout the various stages of the dementia.
Our Support Coordinators inform clients about other community services for which they are eligible, and help them to access these.
We have a varied selection of books on dementia that are available for financial members to borrow. Please call in at the office if you are interested.
